Fashion icon Andre Leon Talley has lead a life that most would die for. He was editor-at-large for Vogue magazine, judge for America’s Next Top Model and contributing editor for Vogue magazine. He managed to do it all in the world of fashion and become an icon while doing it.
Now the icon is adding another reality to show to his perfectly styled and chic belt, the series will be called Fashion Stories. A press release from Bravo describes the show:
We follow four up-and-coming fashion design teams as they produce the defining collection of their careers, all under the watchful eye of fashion icon Andre Leon Talley. The mission to “create, show and sell” is clear for emerging designers striving to build a business in New York City, which remains the heart of the fashion industry.
Only time will if the larger-than-life persona that is Andre Leon Talley can breathe life into a show that sounds as if it might be carbon copy of Project Runway and any other runway show that has been created out of its existence. We say with his expertise, we are bound to see designers pushed to the brink while creating pieces that they could only dream of with Talley as a mentor.
